Chew Stoke Church School
Our Church school is a large village school close to the southern outskirts of Bristol with a privileged position on the edge of the village of Chew Stoke - a truly peaceful spot.
Working with an excellent team of staff and governors is both a privilege and a pleasure. There is a strong sense of community with a warm, caring and friendly atmosphere which fosters success and enjoyment in many ways.
We hope you enjoy your visit to our website and that it provides you with a small taste of life here at this 'very special' school. Our staff are always happy to answer any questions you may have; many have been parents of pupils at this school themselves and they know the importance of choosing the right school for your child.
The school's ethos is very much based upon core Christian values ~ Friendship ~ Love ~ Trust ~ Truthfulness ~ Courage ~ Compassion ~ and these are at the heart of everything we do in our daily lives within our school.
We hope to welcome you back in the very near future.
Ben Hewett, Headteacher
“Standards in reading, writing and mathematics are above the national average by the end of Year 6. This represents good progress from pupils’ starting points.”
